Spoiler Free Review: Avengers, Infinity War

Welcome back to the Scuttlebutt, you know I had to go, and you knew I was going to review.

So, first off, let me say that I won’t give spoilers on this one, even though it’s going to make it a damn short article.

I saw another review of this that had good advice, so I’m going to echo it here.  If you have kids, and they aren’t already familiar with the source documents for this film, go by your selves, and then take the kids.  Especially if they’re emotionally involved with any of the characters in the Marvel universe.

This was the Marvel film George R.R. Martin has always wanted to make.

The cinematography was excellent, it’s worth seeing in 3D.  The characters stay absolutely true to character. There is, for the first time in a long time, virtually no music track, I think there were two songs in the whole show…

Stay for the after credits, you will anyway, you’ll be in such shock that you won’t be able to get up and leave.

Look, this is a contentious movie.  My wife and 20-year-old son about came to blows over it… Go ahead, tell yourself you’re ready… You aren’t.

Really, this is all I can say about the movie without spoilers, sadly.

Go, watch, wait with me for the second half.

I remain,

Yours in service,

William Lehman.
