The writings of Paul make up a large portion of The New Testament. And he had a special commission for the gentiles. Did this change Paul’s outlook on keeping Torah?
“All who sin apart from the Law will also perish apart from the Law, and all who sin under the Law will be judged by the Law. For it is not the hearers of the Law who are righteous before God,but it is the doers of the Law who will be declared righteous. Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the Law, do by nature what the Law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the Law,…” Romans 2:12-14
so where do i stand being a believer and a huge sinner? keep torah or just be a gentile?
It’s simple:
A.) If you have not yet asked Yeshuah Ha Mashiach into your heart, you ask God to forgive you for your sins & invite Yeshuah into your heart. This is because “Messiah, our Passover has been sacrificed for us.” Then God forgives you & cleanses you from all of your sins. This is how your relationship with Him is established.
B.) If you have already taken the steps in part A, then when you catch yourself committing a sin –and you will– you ask for Adonai to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. Then He just hits your restart button. You have a clean slate again. The blood sacrifice of Yeshua’s crucifixion covers ALL OF YOUR SINS in your past, and in your present, and those that you will commit and repent of in your future.
DON’T OVER THINK IT. “Yeshuah Ha Meshiach is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” If Yeshua tells us that the number of times that we should forgive others who offend us is “seventy times seven,” do you not think that our infinite God is unlimited on how many times He will forgive us? Of course He will for give you again, and again, and again, and again, and again, and again….
