My current favourite smoothie – Creamy Carob Smoothie.
The addition of avo gives the smoothie a silky smooth texture, but without an avo taste. I have a feeling that even those who are averse to carob will fall for this delicious bowl of chocolatey goodness ? So without further ado, here is the recipe…
2 frozen bananas
1/2 cup almond milk
2-3 TBS carob powder
1/4 avo (about 1-2 TBS)
Pinch of salt
Optional: 1 TBS hemp seeds
Optional: 1 tsp cinnamon
Optional: 1-2 dates to sweeten
Blend until smooth. Top with your favourite toppings (I took advantage of the last of the fig season – onto our 6th box of these amazing figs from @thefigary !)
